Hundreds packed the live music venue to see the group responsible for one of the worst ear-worms of the 1990s – The Vengaboys.
The crowd was a good mix of ages with what seem some fans were introducing their adult children to the Dutch Eurodance sensation.
Vengaboys was originally a working name for Dutch DJs Dennis van den Drieshen and Wessel van Diepen, who hired singers/dancers to form the group.
Winners of the World Music Award for Best-Selling Dance Group in 2001, the group wrote the rules on infectious pop hooks.
Since the band's inception in 1997, the lineup has changed several times while they have gone in and out of hiatus.
It’s part of a national tour by Arena Touring and Frontier Touring which will also head to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin and New Zealand.
The pop-stars were joined by the SkitzMix master, Australian DK Nick Skitz.
