The Tribal Clash Australia team fitness event took place at North Wollongong Beach on Saturday and Sunday.
More than 70 co-ed teams of six athletes (teams of three men and three women) from as far as Perth battled it out in an event that sought to test all aspects of fitness.
The Tribal Clash teams raced in a purpose-built arena on the beach, while some events took the athletes into the water.
The catch was the participants didn’t know what type of fitness challenge they had to face until the last minute.
The international team fitness competition was launched in the UK in 2013.
The Tribal Clash 2019 season will also visit Portugal, the US and UK.
