But those who get dealt The Bluff Burger at their Four Aces Cafe are in for a tasty treat.
The Royal Flush Brekky is also proving popular with diners in the early days of the new cafe in Burelli Street, Wollongong.
Hira reckons every dish is a winning hand.
A long-time chef and manager at a popular cafe in Austinmer, Hira decided it was time to bite the bullet and run his own business.
“I’m happy that Bec has joined me,” he said.
“We work well outside of here and I think we will work even better running the cafe.”
Once the decision was made to open their own cafe, it was always going to incorporate a poker-theme.
“We both love playing poker and we both love working in the food industry,” Hira said.
“It just seemed right to combine our two loves. We’ve had a bit of fun in naming some of the meals in our menu. Poker players I think will really enjoy it.”
Four Aces Cafe is open weekdays from 7am to 5pm and weekends from 8am.
