At 33, Coenraad finished the NBL campaign, where the Hawks missed out on the playoffs, averaging 8.7 points per game and four rebounds while coming off the bench.
Coenraad was one of three Hawks players to be included, with boom rookies Daniel Grida and Emmett Naar also picked. All three players are on contract to return to the Hawks for the next NBL campaign.
Nominated for the NBL rookie of the year award, both Naar and Grida had outstanding seasons, even as the Hawks fell out of playoff contention with a heartbreaking overtime loss Brisbane, before two crushing defeats at the hands of New Zealand.
The Boomers will take on Kazakhstan on Friday morning (AEDT) and Iran next Monday, having already booked their World Cup ticket with a 9-1 record.
