The event moved from Wollongong to Port Kembla this year, with 10 artists transforming blank walls into masterpieces that pay homage to the suburb's industrial heritage and help to reimagine its future.
Artist Sarah McCloskey’s work – on the corner of Wentworth and Fitzwilliam streets – depicts a portrait of a woman painted in vibrant pinks and blues.
It also features waratah flowers – a nod to the fact the 26-year-old has just moved to Sydney from Perth.
“The community seems to really love it, we love being here and we love being able to leave a little piece of ourselves here to live out in Port Kembla history,” Ms McCloskey said.
Organisers have hailed the event a success.
