The 10-year-old Sydney girl seriously injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash at the weekend remained in hospital on Monday, as a Wollongong school rallied around two students also hurt in the accident.

Four people were aboard the Polaris Ranger buggy when it left Calderwood Road at Marshall Mount, flipped onto its side and hit a fence about 10.20am on Sunday.
It is understood the driver, a 31-year-old woman, the 10-year-old, from Birrong, and two other girls, both 11, were not wearing seatbelts at the time.
The older girls, one of whom was hospitalised with a shoulder injury and the other treated at the scene for minor injuries, were students at The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS).
In a statement, TIGS confirmed the accident involved two of its junior school students.
“The school has provided counselling support for our students and will continue to care for the families involved,” it said.
The 10-year-old girl suffered serious head and chest injuries. She went into cardiac arrest and had to be revived by paramedics at the scene.
The girl was flown by rescue helicopter to the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick. The hospital was unable to provide an update on her condition late on Monday afternoon.
However, police indicated she was in a critical but stable condition and in an induced coma.
An investigation into the crash is continuing.
