A top-end “dream home” at Bulli previously owned by a prominent Illawarra businessman has sold for $3.2 million.

Set on 601sqm, 6 Garaban Court, Bulli includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, 12-car garaging and an 18-metre heated lap pool.
According to selling agent, Belle Property Illawarra principal Darren Kay it sold prior to auction to an Illawarra buyer.
He said there had been inquiries on the property from areas such as Double Bay, the North Shore and Canberra, but was ultimately purchased by a local buyer.
The property had been on the market for 49 days.
Tom Veljanov is co-owner of City Motors Group, which includes Mercedes-Benz Wollongong, Wollongong City Motors and Shellharbour City Motors at Albion Park Rail.
Mr Veljanov and wife Ilona bought a block at Sandon Point in 2006, and set about building their “dream home”.
The home was completed in 2010.
Mr Veljanov said with their children leaving home, they were downsizing to a luxury unit in Wollongong.
“In a way I’m sad to see it go, but there's too much space for just two people,” he told the Mercury last year.
There have been several $3 million-plus sales in Bulli in recent years.
The home at 2 Weaver Terrace, Bulli sold under the hammer for $3,600,000 in 2017.
