A Taste of Paradise runs day programs at a farm near Berry for children aged five to 18, who are referred to its day programs by government child welfare workers and welfare agencies.
The programs help participants learn life skills and care for each other, while the organisation does not currently receive any direct government funding.
"Through interacting with our animals, the natural environment of the farm and through the therapeutic benefit of seeing results from your own work, they begin to find their place in the world and realise that they can create opportunities for themselves and determine their own future," co-founder Tim Francis said.
The Solid Rock-star and other musicians will perform at Coolangatta Estate on May 10.
