After sweeping all three competitions last season, the Lakers are aiming to add to the one-day trophy they won earlier in the season. 

That win also came over Oak Flats and the Rats are determined to ensure the tables are turned on their rivals this weekend.

"It's a huge weekend for us," Oak Flats captain Scott McAndrew said. "We've been having a look at this weekend in the calendar for a good month. Everyone has been keen for a while, we're all looking forward to it. 

"We only lost the one-day final by five runs. We know with the side we've got, one to 11, if we play well we can defeat them."

The two teams have firepower across the park, with McAndrew and Brynley Richards leading the way for Oak Flats. Lake Illawarra's title bid will be led by all-rounder Kerrod White and Ryan Maguire

With so much talent present and the teams so evenly matched, Lakers captain Mark Ulcigrai predicts fielding will play a major role in determining the outcome of Sunday's match. 

"It is a big weekend, we'll be vying for another trophy," Ulcigrai said. "Oak Flats and us are top of the table in all three formats, so it's going to be a tight one. 

"It's going to be similar to the one-day final, fielding's going to win us the game. With a Twenty20 game, anyone can catch fire and win you the game with ball or bat and both sides are very evenly matched, so fielding will come into it."
