The Illawarra's swimmers are celebrating another successful Country Championships, with juniors from the region claiming multiple medals at the recent competition.

Corrimal Swim Club's Zara Sharman led the way for the region's swimmers, with the 17-year-old matching it with more experienced rivals in the 17 and over opens category.
Sharman took out the 200 metres, 400m and 800m freestyle events, and also finished second in the 1500m freestyle and 200m butterfly and third in the 100m freestyle.
At the other end of the age spectrum was Aya Milton, who impressed in the 12 and under age group. The 12-year-old won gold in the 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle events and claimed a silver medal in the 50m freestyle. She also added a bronze in the 200m individual medley.
And Wests teenager Sydney Brown won an incredible seven gold medals.
