The band’s first performances in Australia since 2013, and first show in New Zealand since 2010, will be:
- October 17 Perth AUS Optus Stadium
- October 20 Adelaide AUS Adelaide Oval
- October 22 Melbourne AUS Marvel Stadium
- October 26 Sydney AUS ANZ Stadium
- October 29 Brisbane AUS QSAC
- October 31 Auckland NZ Mt. Smart Stadium
These will be Metallica’s first ever headline stadium plays in Australia and New Zealand.
Special guests Slipknot will join Metallica on all dates.
Fan Club pre-sales begin on Tuesday, March 12, from 1pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, March 18, at 3pm in Sydney and 2pm (local time) in all other cities.
As with most of Metallica’s WorldWired shows, every ticket purchased includes a choice of standard physical or standard digital copy of the band’s 10th and current album, Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
All tickets will include a free MP3 download of the show(s) attended, mixed and mastered by the team behind Hardwired...To Self-Destruct.
