'Driftwood' beach house, located at 1 Bong Bong Street, Kiama is for sale.
Set on 244sqm, it reportedly dates back to circa 1850.
The Sydney-based Crumpton family bought the home in 2015, after it had reportedly been in Kiama's well-known Stead family for about 100 years.
Helena Crumpton said the home had since been a popular holiday let, and undergone some renovations that "opened it up".
"It was a three-bedroom, one-bathroom, and it's now a four-bedroom, two-bathroom," she said.
"It's a gorgeous old beach house, and beautifully made.
"In that street it's mostly all apartments now, there's no little old ones left near the beach really. So it's a bit of a one-off."
The home includes views over Surf Beach and Kiama Showground.
Other features include an open plan living area, white washed timber floors, high ceilings, original stonework and a two-way fireplace.
The selling agent is Angie Ritchie of Zest Real Estate.
"This is a unique and gorgeous property in an incredible location," she said.
The site is Zoned B2 - Local Centre, which has the possibility for future development potential (subject to council approval).
