By this time next week we should know who is to govern this state for the next few years … possibly.

In the lead-up to the election we will be doing all we can to ensure the people of this region are armed with the information they need to cast an educated vote.
We'll be listing exactly what parties have promised exactly what to the Illawarra so you can see clearly what is at stake.
On Saturday, we'll be offering Coalition leader Gladys Berejiklian and Labor leader Michael Daley the chance to make a "last ditch pitch" for your vote.
We'll also be giving readers and overview on each of the candidates in the seats of the Illawarra.
If you are watching our website next Saturday, we might even tell you where you can get a good democracy sausage.
On election night our reporters Andrew Pearson and Ashleigh Tullis will be keeping readers up to date on our website on all the latest from the tally rooms.
We will bring you the news as it happens, but most importantly don't forget to vote.
