A woman has been airlifted to Liverpool Hospital after a two-car head-on crash on the Illawarra Highway.

Two cars collided on Sheepwash Road at Burrawang about 3.45pm on Saturday.
Traffic was affected in both directions as a result of the crash.
Emergency services and traffic crews cleared the site just before 5pm.
One woman was transported to hospital via helicopter.
