Mr Webb is Lifting for Autism in support of Aspect South Coast School for children with autism and its 130 students on the autism spectrum in Illawarra.
His attempt is timed to precede World Autism Day activities on April 2.
Mr Webb and his wife Jade Webb are long time supporters of Aspect South Coast School.
They have three children and their eldest was diagnosed with an autistic disorder at the age of three.
As a result they sought and received Aspect services after the diagnosis and their oldest son has attended Aspect South Coast School since 2014.
Their latest fundraising comes at a time when the school is taking steps to provide greater access to Aspect services for Illawarra children on the spectrum.
"Andrew has committed to a mammoth feat from 10am on the 31st," Mrs Webb said.
"He will be lifting 100 tonnes in one day, with a goal of raising $10,000 for the school. We have already raised roughly $6,000".
