Collings has joined the cast of a string of other Australian notables for Senior Moments, to be performed in Wollongong for the first time from April 5 to 7 at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre.
Co-writer of the review Kevin Brumpton said the play is a series of comedy skits, such as "Play School for Seniors" with age appropriate nursery rhymes to get a giggle.
"It's all focused on what would amuse and older audience," he said.
"We have a bit fun with that and we have senior nursery rhymes, there's one that goes 'rub a dub dub three men in a tub, that's a valid life choice and i'm not judging it'."
Other familiar faces on the stage include veteran actor John Wood (Blue Heelers), satirist Max Gillies (The Gillies Report), Kim Lewis (Sons and Daughters), Russell Newman (A Country Practice, Underbelly), with Midday Show maestro Geoff Harvey on piano.
Mr Brumpton said seniors would enjoy the show as would adult children with elderly parents.
