Ian Brodie Grant, 70, of Sanctuary Point, pleaded guilty to seven counts of using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend.
Court papers said Grant sent seven emails to Mr Dutton's office between May 21, 2017 and May 2, 2018.
On March 15 and 16 last year he actually sent two emails on both days to the minister's office.
Obviously unhappy with Mr Dutton's treatment of refugees he called him "Adolph" and threatened him with violence including offering to "rearrange that ugly pumpkin head".
On another occasion he threatened to kick his head in, calling the minister an "ugly mongrel" and "lowlife bastard piece of shit".
"Come down to my place and I'll rearrange that ugly pumpkin head of yours.... cowardly little racist c..t" was another rant.
He said there'd "never been a more disgusting f....n Nazi in Australia".
Grant claimed Mr Dutton had "been trained by three equal foul pieces of shit - Howard, a atrophy octogenarian filth, Ruddock and bully boy Morrison".
"You are anti human..., anti Australian", he continued.
The emails continued in the same vein, laden with numerous vile statements including calling Mr Dutton a "fat headed mongrel c..t" and saying he wanted to "beat him to death".
In another Grant stated Mr Dutton "deserved to be shot in his fat head" and that he was willing to wring his neck.
When confronted by police Mr Grant said he was a pacifist and was furious at the policies of the Coalition government.
He said he had no intention to and would never carry out the threats but believed Mr Dutton have "behaved as a racist, violently and unconscionable".
In Nowra Local Court, Magistrate Gabriel Fleming fined Grant $5600.
