The Wolves travel to Edensor Park with a flawless record in 2019 and sit two points clear at the top of the competition after two rounds. It is undoubtedly the best start the club has had since Pasfield return to Wollongong in 2016.
The experienced keeper is determined to ensure his squad makes the most of it.
"I've seen it a millions times when teams get ahead of themselves, start prancing around and then the wheels fall off. We don't want that to happen," Pasfield said.
"I don't think it will with this group but we have to stay grounded.
"I have told them to stay quiet and reserved. Be happy with how we are performing, but don't get complacent.
"It's only round two and we need to be consistent throughout the whole season."
Sydney United among a group of three clubs locked on four points and in hot pursuit of the Wolves. The powerhouse Sydney club are also undefeated to start the season.
"They are tough team to play, especially playing up there so we will have to be at our best again," Pasfield said.
"With how close the competition is going to be this year, every game will be a big game."
Former Wolves striker Peter Simonoski (foot) will miss Sunday's game through injury, however ex-attacker Josh MacDonald is set to be available.
