It is time now for our state representatives to get on with their job and Gladys Berejiklian will lead the NSW Government.
As expected, there was really little change locally and now our state representatives should get on with the job they are paid to do.
Shadow Treasurer Ryan Park retained his seat of Keira for the Labor Party and likewise Paul Scully in Wollongong and Anna Watson in Shellharbour.
It came as no surprise also to see the Member for Kiama strengthen his vote as there are few politicians on the planet who work their electorate as Gareth Ward works his electorate.
Yet Mr Ward's key role is to be the voice of the Illawarra in the NSW Government and we will be calling him to make sure now that is the main focus going forward.
As per their election commitments we can expect the NSW Government to remain true delivering on things such as the upgrading of the Princes Highway, including delivering the Albion Park bypass.
We can also expect the full promised upgrade of the Shellharbour hospital and complete construction of the Bulli Hospital.
We can expect more nurses, doctors and medical staff and we can expect better train services into the Illawarra.
Now, let's get on with it.
