The defending champions were forced to work for the win, with Shellharbour's batsmen digging in as they chased a target of 279.
The Lakers bowlers remained consistent throughout the day, as Tode Biracoski and William Gamble prevented their opponents from scoring freely.
From 4-145 at the final interval, Shellharbour were bowled out for 202, with Biracoski claiming 4-35 to steer his team to victory.
Lakers captain Mark Ulcigrai was pleased with his team's performance and is looking forward to taking on Oak Flats next weekend.
"It's great to be back in the grand final," Ulcigrai said.
"The two-day trophy is always the one you want at the end of the year. To have two already in the sheds, going for a back-to-back treble, we'll be doing everything in our power to finish on top.
