The memorandum of understanding will see the Wanderers increase their presence in the Illawarra and work with Lake Heights to provide opportunities for players of all abilities to engage with the sport of football.

The partnership will also provide the club's top juniors with the opportunity to join the Wanderers Academy to further pursue their dream of playing football professionally.
Lake Heights players Cooper Schofield, Mitch Despotovski and Koray Goturk are current members of the Wanderers Academy.
As part of the agreement, the Wanderers will run regular holiday clinics in the Illawarra, with the first camp set to be held at Crehan Park during the July school holidays.
