Police are appealing for public assistance after a hit-and-run in an Albion Park driveway saw a 96-year-old man transported to hospital with serious head and leg injuries.

Emergency services were called to a home on Maple Street, Albion Park at about 12.30pm today.
Police have been told a white utility reversed over the man in the driveway, before the male driver briefly rendered assistance and drove away.
The man was assisted at the scene by a nearby member of the public, and then treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Wollongong Hospital to be treated for serious leg and head injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established and officers from the Crash Investigation Unit started inquiries.
Investigators have released dashcam images of a vehicle they are appealing for public assistance to locate.
It is described as a possible 2010 Ford Falcon Utility with a tray-back and a ladder attached to the top, and was last seen travelling west on Maple Street towards Croome Road.
