There will be scheduled partial lane closures (affecting both directions). Reduced speed limits also expected at most times for safety reasons.
An RMS spokesman said intermittent lane closures will be expected during work hours, with traffic controllers on site.
During night work, RMS has advised a detour will be in place for Illawarra Highway motorists via Princes Highway and Tongarra Road.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Meantime, overtaking lanes have been removed on the Princes Highway between Berry to Bomaderry as part of work on the Princes Highway upgrade. This work will be suspended during Easter and the Anzac Day holiday period.
