Bringing together athletes from nine different regional sporting academies, the multi-sport competition will provide athletes with a good opportunity to test themselves against some of the best competitors in the state.
IAS athlete coach and program manager Dane Robinson said the excitement has been building within the Academy for many weeks.
"Everyone's pretty excited," Robinson said. "Coaches, athlete, staff, it's pretty awesome the event that's on. A lot of work has gone into it, now we're all looking forward to getting up there and having a go.
"We're just trying to hopefully build a lot of camaraderie among the teams and academies. It also gives us a guide as to how our athletes are developing, specific areas coaches can focus on moving forward."
