Wollongong City Council's Youth Services team has exciting range of events from Thursday to April 18.
There will be a a music concert and sporting activities at Bellambi Point, live music, aerosol art, skateboarding in Berkeley and a rolling racer challenge in the Crown Street Mall.
Wollongong City Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery said Youth Week celebrates and acknowledge the young people in the community.
"We have events at Dapto Town Square, Bellambi Point, Holborn Park in Berkeley and in the Crown Street Mall," he said.
"This Youth Week is a marvellous opportunity for young people to share their ideas, attend live events, have their voices heard on issues that concern them and also to show off their talents.
"Best of all it's basically to have fun and enjoy ourselves."
Youth Shout Out will be held on Thursday from 3pm - 6pm at Dapto Town Square. There will be free food, live music, interactive stalls. Get your voice heard with the Y Vote program.
Sand and Soundz will be held on Wednesday at 2pm to 5pm at Bellambi Point. There will be sports workshops, interactive art, live music, DJs, food and more.
Alternatively, Youthfest will be held on Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm at Holborn Park, Berkeley and will include live music, aerosol art, sports, art workshops, food stalls and skating.
The Roller Racing Challenge will be held on April 18 from 6pm to 8pm at Crown Street Mall, Wollongong.
Young people can challenge their coding skills in the challenge.
Competitors race an app-enabled educational robot, called a spheros, around a race track.
Young people involved in the Code the Gong program have been working behind the scenes to demonstrate their coding skills for this Youth Week event.
Shellharbour
Youth Week Art Exhibition opening night will be held on Friday from 5:30pm at Blackbutt Youth Centre.
The Youth Week Art trail goes from Friday to Thursday from 10pm to 5pm weekdays at Blackbutt Youth Centre and Shellharbour Civic Centre.
Shellharbour City Youth Market will be held on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm at Shellharbour Civic Centre
Sound and Lights will be held on April 18 from 4:30pm to 7pm at Shellharbour Skate Park. The event includes music, food and skating.
