Many of those people were refugees escaping the reach of ISIS who were murdering, taking young women and girls as young as 10 as sex slaves for their army.
And amongst those killed were refugees New Zealand gave a home to because Australia had said no to granting them refuge.
It haunts my mind how anyone can kill let alone kill in the name of supremacy of nationality, religion, race or colour.
For we are all children of our parents and of their birth land, colour, race, religion and traditions.
No matter what our parents are or where they are from gives us reason to be proud of our heritage.
And no one has the right to judge nor take away the Devine gift given at birth by God, Allah, Mohomad, Buddha or any other Deity and that gift is the "Right to Life".
There is no supremacy we are all equals in that Right to Life.
There are no grounds for racism for we are all brothers and sisters of one race, the human race.
I am a white Christian Australian for one reason, and one reason only and that is simply because I was born of white Christian Australian parents.
Of which I am proud and one of the things in my heritage I grew up most proud of was the Aussie Spirit "I will help you up mate",
May those lives not be lost without us reuniting with that Aussie Spirit and learning to live in peace as one.

THE HALLOWED TURF
How disrespectful are all the football codes wanting to abandon the Sydney Cricket Ground's historic centre wicket and replace it with a drop in pitch.
Are you serious?
They have already ruined the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the once lovely Adelaide Oval for having drop in wickets
The Bulli soil has been there forever even when it was the Garrison for the army barracks.
Well it's true what they say, tradition and culture is slowly dying in this country.

A NUCLEAR FIX TO POWER PROBLEM
John Hewson tells us that the UK and Germany are transitioning away from coal fired power stations.
He doesn't tell us what they are using instead.
They are going to nuclear power, an apparent impossibility in Australia.
Wishful dreaming I'm afraid Mr Hewson.

SINNERS AND SAINTS
The Easter message is that Jesus Christ came to die on the cross for all sinners, homosexuals and heterosexuals.
Rugby Australia shouldn't get so precious about one group. We're all sinners and we all need salvation.
Israel Folau is simply proclaiming his Christian beliefs.
LGBTQ advocates do that all the time without penalty.
