Streets are becoming like a peak hour run to work. congestion is at a peak The main road is at saturation point and has been happening for years. Despite this the Brickworks Estate - left of Bulli Showgrounds was allowed to be built - who allowed this - on a drive through the roadways in this estate.
It's just comfortable for a small car. How in the world garbage trucks/ambulance/fire brigade trucks manage is beyond imagination - who allowed this development? And who's pocketing all the money from rates etc? Are we going to let this happen Corrimal?
We have 270 new units on the Corrimal Leagues Club land, 50 on the new Verge development in Russel/Underwood Street over the new ALDI. Now they are proposing 700 new dwellings in the Cokeworks area - this surely can not happen as we will be on overload with units, traffic, cars, people.
Stand up and contact your local members to try and block these greedy developers from snapping up our land and making a million dollars in unit building. The developers don't live around here - spoke to one of them at the Corrimal meeting - he had no idea of the area and what it entailed.

ADVANCE AUSTRALIA FAIR
I'm not 50 yet (almost) but I am old enough to have witnessed every single giant factory in Sydney close and move abroad and be replaced by foreign call centres. So why are both sides of the house promising more employment when they know it's not going to happen. Talk about self centered, it's a disgraceful way of advancing Australia.

GET REAL MR SHORTEN
Why shouldn't people be able to claim a tax reduction so they can hire a professional to navigate the complex and lengthy tax law. Why take aim at the profession that have a governance role in the tax process? \Would you wire your house with an unlicensed electrician? Of course not, you use someone with qualifications and you pay them appropriately. Get real Mr Shorten.
Accountants are an inseparable part of the taxation process and they should not have their payments limited by an arbitrary pronouncement. Taxpayers have a legal right to get their own tax advice. There is absolutely no evidence that accountants or accountancy fees are rorting the system.

FAITH IN HUMANITY
Recently I was visiting Coledale from Queensland and on the train to Thirroul from the airport I realised I had mislaid my computer. I immediately contacted the guard on the train and he was so helpful in initiating a search.
The next morning I contacted Sydney lost property and the station master at Thirroul station and almost immediately the computer was located already at Lost Property and within 24 hours it was delivered to my door in Coledale. I wish to sincerely thank all ones who helped. It truly has restored my faith in the goodness of humanity.
