The government has declined to release a new transport plan that would tackle northern suburbs traffic headaches, according to Keira MP Ryan Park.

But a Transport for NSW spokesman said the report is not yet finished - and won't be ready for more than a year.
Just after the election the Keira MP wrote to Roads and Transport Minister Andrew Constance about apparent delays in the Illawarra Shoalhaven Future Transport Plan.
In November, Transport for NSW said a Thirroul to Unanderra Network Strategy already started by Roads and Maritime Services would be replaced by the future transport plan.
In his letter, Mr Park expressed his frustration about this decision.
"While RMS have been changing their mind about what a strategy is called, local motorists from Thirroul and Bulli and all the way to Unanderra have been forced to put up with increased congestion on road networks," Mr Park wrote.
"Residents are forced to sit in snail-paced traffic along Memorial Drive and Lawrence Hargrave Drive with no solutions in sight."
Mr Park said the future transport plan "is finalised however it hasn't been released to the public".
"Minister the public has a right to this information and expects to be updated on the issues and possible short, medium and long-term solutions that are being considered," he wrote.
One oft-touted solution is an extension of Memorial Drive to Bulli Pass, however it is understood the government has no plans for such an upgrade.
A Transport for NSW spokesman said the future transport plan would not be complete before some time next year.
"Roads and Maritime Services carried out initial investigations which will be considered in the development of a supporting plan to Future Transport 2056," the spokesman said.
"This plan will consider if and when any major network enhancements, such as the linking of Bulli Pass with Memorial Drive, might be required in the future."
