- Combine strength with muscular hypertrophy training.
- Use slow aerobic cardio generally at 60 per cent max Hr and below to ensure you are using body fat as a primary fuel source whilst doing this steady state activity.
- Eat more lean protein.
- Eat carbohydrates after your workout, to ensure your muscle fibres gain the necessary fuel to repair and grow.
- Sleep at least 8 hours per night.
- Maintain a moderate caloric deficit to ensure your body burns any excess fat as its fuel source.
