The 15-year-old recently secured second place at the Oceania Continental Championships, beating a number of highly-fancied rivals in the process.
The podium finish was enough to secure Woolley entry into June's Dew Tour competition in California, one of the key events in the Olympic qualification process.
It's a competition he's looking forward to contesting.
"Up next for me is the first Olympic qualifier in eight weeks time," Woolley said. "All the top skaters from around the world will be going there trying to get a spot in the Olympics.
"Making the Olympics squad is my goal, I feel like if I keep working hard and getting tricks down, I'll be able to go alright at the Dew Tour."
With skateboarding set to make its Olympic debut in Tokyo next year, the official qualification process is still in the process of being finalised.
What that means for Woolley is that every competition matters and every result counts.
While it adds pressure to an already pressure-filled environment, the Minnamurra resident is excited about what the next 18 months hold.
"You have to qualify for Australia first, and then go to the qualifiers and earn a spot at the Olympics. Right now I'm in the top three Australians and if I keep skating well and go well at the Dew Tour, I'll get invited to more Olympic qualifiers."
