And for three performances only, the frightfully delightful world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and Lurch will take centre stage at Bulli High School.
The school's magnificently macabre new musical brings the beloved and bizarre first family of comedy to life, complete with show-stopping numbers.
Director and music teacher Lindy Sharp said in the school's production, the gloriously morbid family is put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling them into a night that will change their lives forever.
She praised the leadership role students took, especially in the creative field of the production. .
Ms Sharp was especially proud of the contribution of Year 11 students Blake Douglas and Amelie Downie, who have spent many hours co-directing and choreographing the fabulous dance routines.
"The Addams Family band includes both current and past Bulli High students, as well as public school teachers," she said.
"The Addams Family captures the kooky nature of TV's wackiest family with a new plot twist.
"Always a fabulous event, Bulli High's energetic and exciting production is sure to entertain audiences, young and old."
The Addams Family will be staged on Wednesday, May 8, Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm.
