Wollongong Olympic climbed back to the top of the Illawarra Premier League with a determined 2-0 victory over fellow title contenders Tarrawanna on Saturday afternoon.

The Blueys had occupied top spot since round four, but slipped a point behind Olympic after they failed match it with the hosts in the first half of a tense affair at PCYC.
Goal fiend Yusuke Ueda opened the scoring in the 24th minute when he buried his effort into the bottom corner before John Martinoski doubled the advantage ten minutes later.
Martinoski capitalised on an errant clearance to curl his effort into the top corner and seal the points for the hosts.
"It was a good result in a really tough game," Olympic coach George Antoniou said.
"Both teams battled really well and we were lucky enough to get the two goals before half time. As expected, they really came at us in the second half. We withstood them for the first 20 minutes or so then battled well from there.
"We in a good position now, but there is a long way to go."
Defending premiers Bulli kept the pressure on the leading duo with an important 2-1 win over Port Kembla at Wetherall Park.
Port, Bulli and Albion Park White Eagles all trail Olympic by just three points, with Wollongong United a further point back.
United thrashed Fernhill Foxes 6-1, Albion Park and Woonona Sharks shared the points in a 1-1 draw and Coniston chalked up a valuable 2-0 win over South Coast United.
On Sunday, a stunning display from star striker Van Elia helped Corrimal Rangers blast past Cringila 6-2. Elia scored five on the afternoon.
