A unique collaboration between the Illawarra Mercury, Cycling Australia and Destination Wollongong will give you the chance to play a special part in what will be the biggest event to ever come to our city - the 2022 World Road Cycling Championships.
This opportunity will give you the chance to win some "money can't buy" experiences.
To win, it will need just a little bit of imagination. That's all.
Your creativity could see you not only with some cool prizes bit a pretty special place in local history.
What is it? Well, you'll have to wait to find out.
Wollongong was revealed as the host of the 2022 world titles late last year.
The event will put an international spotlight on the region across the course of a week like we have never seen before.
Already planning is well underway for the world titles, which will see more than 1000 competitors from 50 countries take on the road race and individual and team time trail events.
Dean Dalla Valle was earlier this year named the chair of the 2022 UCI Road World Championships board, which will oversee delivery of the event.
Mr Dalla Valle is the executive officer of Pacific National, Australia's largest rail freight business, but is also a born and bred Wollongong local.
The UOW graduate said the 2022 world titles would put Wollongong on the world stage.
"Wollongong is a stunning location and it will be on a global stage with 300,000 spectators travelling to the city to and 200 million people watching on television," Mr Dalla Valle told the Illawarra Mercury earlier this year.
Keep watching Illawarra Mercury on Wednesday for all the details, guidelines and entry forms to find out how you could win prizes including a special VIP package for the entire week of the championships valued at almost $20,000.
