If you are doing the same thing each week in terms of your indoor cardio, treadmill, bike and X trainer, you have chosen three great machines that work the muscles differently. But you may be finding that you are starting to need some variation in your fitness sessions.
Start to think outside the square and try some of these slightly newer and different pieces in your cardio routine.
Rower: a great machine that uses glutes, quadriceps and arms.
Assault Bike: arguably one of the hardest cardio pieces that incorporates riding with pushing/pulling actions.
Battle Rope: heavy ropes that work not only your lungs but shoulders too.
Ski Erg: great for using your lungs in a different way and helps the swimming and skiing action.
Arm Erg (Grinder): a brilliant cardio piece that requires no leg work purely an upper body challenge.
