Incumbent Whitlam MP Stephen Jones doesn't mind a bit of extra facial hair or a new pair of glasses being scribbled in black texta on his plastic campaign face.

But he says setting one of the corflute signs - which bear his headshot and have been erected in front yards and on roadsides across the electorate - on fire is "pretty bloody stupid".
In a sign the 2019 federal election campaign is literally heating up, the occupants of a Warilla home found one of Mr Jones' signs alight in their yard on Tuesday night.
A picture of the burning corflute was posted to social media and the Mercury understands the resident has been left so distressed by the incident she doesn't want the sign replaced.
Mr Jones, who's vying to keep the seat he's held since 2010 (back when it was known as Throsby), said there'd been a "systematic campaign" of removing and destroying his signs.
"We've had about 70 of them removed. We've got number plates of the people doing it, we've got photographic evidence," he said.
Mr Jones believed a Liberal Party supporter was responsible for the arson.
"If they feel so strongly about me, run a candidate against me," the Labor MP said. He described the Warilla incident as "immature" and "dangerous".
"How do they know that that doesn't catch on fire to a neighbouring fence, or a neighbouring house ... it's pretty bloody stupid," he said.
"You know, sometimes when somebody gives me additional facial hair or a new pair of glasses, I think 'Oh, that's pretty funny, that's well done' but this campaign there's been a lot more dirty tricks."
The Liberal Party was contacted for comment.
