Unitech Solutions managing director Vince Iacovelli and his team were awarded the 2019 Australian/NZ Consensus Award for Innovation for its CARETAG System.
The citation noted how it was designed specifically to address the challenges for service providers working with initiatives such as NDIS and MyAgedCare.
And how the system demonstrated innovation and performance.

CARETAG was designed to give clients choice and control when receiving consumer directed care.
And simplify the scheduling, rostering and service delivery process for coordinators and support workers.
It uses smart card, GPS and mobile technology to reduce week long admin and data collection processes into minutes.
"I'm very proud of the team and the hard work they've done in making the concept and design a reality," Mr Iacovelli said.
"We tried to create something that would benefit the participants and the industry so as to improve the lifestyle and wellbeing of all Australians, creating an inclusive society. This win indicates we're on the right track".
