But The Higher Education Technology Agenda (THETA) 2019 will be held at the Novotel in Wollongong from May 19-22.
IMTS director and conference chair, Fiona Rankin, said the conference was a tremendous opportunity for UOW staff and higher degree research students to showcase innovations, research and collaborations.
"It could lead the way for new partnerships, networks and strategic opportunities," she said.
'The Tipping Point' is the theme of the conference which will feature more than 100 presentations and is expected to draw an attendance of more than 700 people from Australia and overseas.
It is being run under the direction of the Council of Australasian University Directors of Information Technology (CAUDIT), the Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL) and the Australasian Council on Open, Distance and e-Learning (ACODE).
