Organiser, Associate Professor Georgine Clarsen said the monthly seminars will be held on the same dates as the Ramsay Centre speaker series in Sydney.
The first Wollongong seminar at the Illawarra Brewery is on Tuesday, May 21 from 6pm.
"Given the very strong outrage among Indigenous staff and students at UOW about the possibility of a Ramsay degree here, the topic is 'First Nations Perspectives on Western Civilisation'," Clarsen said.
"Speakers will be Wadi Wadi Elder, Aunty Dr Barbara Nicholson, Postdoctoral Fellow Marlene Longbottom and PhD student Lou Glover.
"Future seminars will discuss the misuses of history, western civilisation and classicism, western civilisation and medievalism, and the rise of white supremacy."
