As they they prepare for their second collection for the summer of 2019-20 the founders of fashion startup Hyams Beach Swim are in demand for more than just their swimwear.
Much of what Natalie Croker and Amanda Bergin did in establishing their label was trial and error. But they managed to overcome all challenges and succeed.
The interest in their success has been so high they put a call out on Instagram to others who have just started or are wanting to start a business.
"Off the back of starting our business we have realised that it's not all cocktails and tropical holidays. It is a lot of hard work and mistakes. But the end result is worth it," Ms Croker said.
"Being young women and millennials we believe in collaborating not competing. We put a post out to our followers to say that if they need any advice re starting a business we would be happy to answer any questions and help as much as we can. We have had a lot of young women message us, asking for advice, tips or just leaving super kind messages saying they find what we are doing inspiring.
"I have even started an Instagram page @girlbossesillawarra to start creating a community of women with businesses in the Illawarra.
The first Hyams Beach Swim collection was 75 per cent made from eco-friendly fabrics. The second range will be 100 per cent eco-friendly.
