A smoking ceremony at midday on Monday is being held followed by a Welcome to Country organised by the Illawarra Aboriginal Corporation and a talk on indigenous inclusion.
People and culture leader Renee Whiteside said there will also be dancers and bush tucker tasting plates with wattleseed damper and native food such as crocodile, emu and kangaroo, finishing with lemon myrtle cookies.
"Mercer is committed to reconciliation, supporting our indigenous colleagues and creating a workplace where people from all cultures feel valued and included," she said.
