Lake Illawarra police officers want to speak to man who approached a 14-year-old girl in Albion Park on Friday morning.

The man, who is described as aged in his 60s or 70s with grey hair, walked up to the teen while she was waiting for the school bus on Terry Street.
Chief Inspector Brian Pedersen said the man started talking to the girl and she "became scared".
"The bus then arrived," he said. "The girl told her teachers who then reported it to police.
"The girl has given a statement to police with her parents.
"Police are continuing to investigate."
Chief Inspector Pedersen said the man did not threaten the girl but she felt scared.
"We want to track down the man to find out what were his intentions, which could be innocent but we don't know that until we speak to him," he said.
