Emergency services were called to Holloway Road, South Nowra about 3.45pm after reports of a stabbing.
A 32-year-old man was located with multiple stab wounds to his body.
A 45-year-old man was found in a home nearby suffering from a stab wound to his stomach.
Police found and seized a knife.
The younger man was taken to Wollongong Hospital before being airlifted to St George Hospital.
The older man was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital.
Their conditions are not known at this stage.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries continue.
