"Somebody out there knows where he is, what has happened to him. We just want them to tell us," Mrs Pearce said on Monday.
"Our only agenda is to bring him home, whatever the situation is so he can be home and we have closure," she said.
"If he's alive let him come home. If he has passed away let us put him to rest. He doesn't deserve to be out there as though he is nothing."
Mrs Pearce is holding on to that slither of hope that the 21-year-old is still alive.
She knows Gary used drugs and mixed in bad circles, but says that doesn't mean he wasn't a loved and active member of a family.
Gary kept in daily contact with her - some times calling two or three times a day - and she knew if he needed help he would ask.
The last call from Gary's phone came at 12.35am on April 24.
"Then it went dead. he hasn't been on social medai since, no bank records, he's the sort of kid that had to speak every day to somebody.
Mrs Pearce rejected social media suggestions he may have taken his own life due to the nature of some of his posts.
"I don't believe it at all and everybody who knows him, knows the same thing .. and if that were the case where is his car?" she said.
"Somebody out there knows where he is what has happened to him, we just want them to tell us.
"Mrs Pearce and her husband have not worked a day since Gary disappeared.
"We've hardly eaten, coffee is our staple. This is destroying our family. We are so distraught over it, we need to find that one person who's got a bit of a heart to tell us what they know," she said.
"We've been to the the police station every single day since he disappeared, we will not rest until he's found.
"We want to keep his face out there so someone realises what he means to us and does the right thing."
The Pearce family is offering a reward of $10,000 to anyone who gives information that leads to finding Gary.
They are distributing flyers to areas he was known to frequent or had friends and associatwa, including the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands, Campbelltown, Blue Mountains, Cowra and Bathurst.
While comments on social media about their son have been disturbing and at some times cruel, Mrs Pearce says the support has far outweighed the negative.
"We are blown away by the support on social media and people in general. We are excessively grateful for everyone who has shared our posts or put up posters. Please keep sharing."
People with any information are asked to call Lake Illawarra Police on 4232 5599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
