Stephen Dupont's photographs explore the human condition and the Westernization of traditional society in Papua New Guinea in the show, titled. "Piksa Niugini: The Portraits and Diaries of Stephen Dupont".
"Photography is really the window into the world," he said. "We have a responsibility as photojournalists to bring back the story and the truth."
The acclaimed artist will speak about his work, books and diaries at a free talk at the gallery on Wednesday August 7.
The official opening of the exhibition is Friday June 7, 6:30pm.
