The hosts opened their campaign on Tuesday in winning form, claiming a 2-1 victory over Sydney South West before triumphing over North West 3-1.
Those victories allowed South Coast to progress to Wednesday morning's quarter-final where they ran into a talented Sydney East side.
It was there that South Coast's title hopes were dashed, with Sydney East claiming a 1-nil victory.
The locals recovered on Wednesday afternoon to claim 2-nil victory over Western in a classification game. South Coast will now face Sydney North in Thursday's fifth-placed playoff.
Hunter will face Sydney East in the final, with Hunter having defeated Sydney West 2-nil in the first semi-final.
The second semi-final was a tighter affair, with Sydney East defeating the CHS Invitational side in extra time.
