Have they not got the message, Liberals won against all the odds, having in mind the grubby election campaign by Labor and their idiotic mob called GetUp.
Now that the Liberal cabinet has been sworn in, Labor should support the policies proposed by Morrison mandate, ie. the tax cuts for all Australians, building necessary infrastructure (and hopefully supporting the building of a number of new coal fired power generators) creating new employment opportunities.
But unfortunately the left leaning Labor leader cannot bring himself to utter the words "I support the Adani coal mine" or "I support tax cuts for all Australians", that would indicate a move to stop the constant move to divide the community.
Albanese will never be able to unite Australians as long as he has these socialist ideological strategies.
Strategies that were rejected on May 18 and will be rejected again in three years.

THINKING OF THEMSELVES
There was no miracle, the Ipsos poll got it right, by reason, guilty minded persons tell fibs.
In 2000, Peter Costello brought in a system of allowing shareholders to get a cash refund if they receive more in franking credits than they actually owed in tax.
Because income from superannuation is tax free for people over 60, high income retirees were able use franking credits to get a cash gift of over [then] 40 cents for every dollar they received in dividends.
The two questions asked by pollsters are:
1. Who are you going to vote for?
2. Why?
Not to let the "cat out of the bag" a percentage of Labor voters receiving free franking credits would say "Labor" when actually they were going to vote "Liberal"-distorting the poll.
Hallelujah.
It was these selfish voters that pushed Morrison over the line.

THREE YEARS OF WHAT?
We have another Coalition Government set to guide our great nation for the next three years.
Scott Morrison thankfully defeated Bill Shorten to give Labor a fresh chance to take a long hard look at the real quality of Australian Life, and how things on struggle street are going from bad to worse.
As for Question Time in the new Parliament, will any of our Local Labor Members manage to find the time to stand up and ask the Prime Minister what he is doing to help the poor downtrodden of their electorates?.
They didn't do it in the last three years.
So far neither Labor or Coalition have done any of us in this region any good at all.

HITTING A RAW NERVE?
Why was it necessary for the Lord Mayor to defend Wollongong Council as being "not anti-development" (see the Illawarra Mercury on May 30).
Is it because the community regards the Council as being anti-development?
