With headlights so bright that you have to move over into nearby parking bays to avoid collision even with night glasses on. Congrats again, but we had to have a whinge. Look forward to seeing you when you inspect with coffee provided.

DRIVING THE DOLLAR
I was watching TV the other night; the feature story was about the new privately-owned Sydney Metro.A Channel 7 reporter interviewed a husband and wife, travelling to Sydney, using the Metro for the first time. Reporter: "How was your first ride on the metro?" Wife, all smiles: "It was incredibly smooth and quiet." Reporter: "Will you use the metro again." Wife: "Yes" Reporter: "How do you usually commute?"
It transpired their usual mode of weekday transport was motor vehicle each using Sydney's motorways to travel to work. Reporter: "And how much does that cost?" Wife: "About four hundred dollars a week." Well $400 multiplied by 52 is $20,800 dollar a year; no wonder the woman was smiling. In February Transurban SE dividend was $11.35, when I last looked it was close to $14. It makes you ponder how low paid workers can afford to run a car.

Haemochromatosis Week
June 3 marks the start of World Haemochromatosis Week. Haemo-chromatosis is the most common genetic disorder in Australia and causes your body to absorb too much iron from food. It is easy to test, simple to treat but tragic to ignore because the excess iron overloads body tissues, damages organs and can cause premature death.
Many people suffer the effects of haemo-chromatosis without being diagnosed because early symptoms are common with other conditions and include tiredness and aching joints. When detected early haemochromatosis can be managed easily through blood donations and is no barrier to a normal life or life expectancy.

THE SILENT MAJORITY
In response to the letter by John Pronk 'Broken Promises' (Illawarra Mercury, Monday May 27, 2019), according to Mr Pronk the silent majority of Australians who did not vote for a Labor-Green government lack intelligence?
That is mildly offensive, but it gets better from left-wing extremists who are labeling the Australian people as w**kers and turds, because they vote Coalition or one of the right-wing parties in 2019. In the 2013 election the Labor-Green left lost and then proceeded to insult, mock, deride and abuse Australian voters. This happened in the 2016 election also.
So the left show how vile they can be during an election campaign while being highly offensive when they lose. This shows how "the left" do not support democracy and certainly have no love and care about workers, pensioners or the poor.
