The side will play seven matches across the three formats over a three-week period on a tour that will run in tandem to the Women's Ashes.
Burns' Australia A squad will play England in a warm-up match prior to the start of the Ashes and a second, three-day, match prior to the lone Ashes Test.
The side will also play three 50-over and two Twenty20 matches against the England Women's Academy.
The selection comes at a promising time in Burns' career, with the 30-year-old earning her first NSW contract last month.
Australian selector Shawn Flegler said the squad represents those next in line for Australian selection.
"This tour is a terrific opportunity for these players to test themselves in notoriously tricky English conditions, with most of the squad also part of the Australia A tour to India last year," Flegler said.
