KU Bulli Preschool will hold a community event on Wednesday to celebrate the official opening of its new playground.
The June 12 event starts at 4.30pm and includes a Welcome to Country, smoking ceremony, speeches and a twilight picnic.
"After many years of fundraising with our families and with the support of KU, we are very excited to be finally opening and revealing our new playground with our preschool community," KU Bulli director Michelle Lashbrook said.
"The playground features the addition of lots of new plants, trees and natural materials, as well as new decking, additions to the cubby house and a dry creek bed."
Keira MP Ryan Park, KU Children's Services CEO Christine Legg and children, families and staff from the preschool are slated to attend the opening.
KU Children's Services is considered one of Australia's leading providers of quality early childhood education and care.
