It was revealed on Thursday the Sharks are considering moving their home games to Netstrata Jubilee Stadium for 2020 should plans to redevelop their facilities go ahead.

But for St George Illawarra star, and former Shark, Tyson Frizell, such a move would simply put Cronulla at a disadvantage.

"It is a weird one, especially for a rivalry," Frizell said. "I guess it's like the Roosters playing Souths at Redfern but it's their home game.

"If a redevelopment is the reason why they can't play there, I guess they probably don't like playing at ANZ and Kogarah's the closest ground, I can understand that.

"But it's still our ground. They'll know that too, even though it's technically a home game for them, everyone knows it's a Dragons home ground. It would be enjoyable to play there if it's their home game and we're against them at Kogarah."

Frizell's comments come as the Dragons prepare to take on Manly at Lottoland on Sunday afternoon.

St George Illawarra head into the match on a high, with the Dragons Origin stars leading the club to victory over the Bulldogs on Monday afternoon.

"We just needed to get straight back into club footy, especially with the way we had been going at club footy," Frizell said. "We were all pretty eager to get back and we were lucky enough to have a longer turnaround which also helped, some guys only had a two day turnaround.

"For us, it was pretty simple and easy for us to get back and want to get our club side back on track, and also play well for our team and hopefully get back in the Origin side."

Sunday's match will come just hours before NSW coach Brad Fittler names his side for Origin II, with a number of changes set to be announced as the Blues look to keep the series alive in Perth.

With St George Illawarra looking to make it back-to-back wins, Frizell said he will be firmly focused on overcoming Manly before he even starts to consider Origin selection.

"Freddy's made it pretty clear that we need to be playing good footy for our club team for him to even consider picking us.

"When it comes with losses, change tends to come, I'm just trying to play good footy for my club side and Origin selection should look after itself."
